Manchester United Remain in Relegation Zone After 4-4 Draw With Aston Villa
Two stoppage-time goals prevent defeat at Old Trafford while Chelsea drop points at Sunderland and Liverpool win at Crystal Palace.

Manchester United salvaged a 4-4 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday after scoring twice in stoppage time at Old Trafford. The result leaves Michael Carrick's side 18th in the Premier League table as pressure remains on the manager.
The visitors took an early lead with two goals inside the opening four minutes. Alysson scored in the first minute when his shot passed under goalkeeper Senne Lammens, before Nicolas Jackson doubled Villa's advantage three minutes later following a save from Lammens. Bruno Fernandes reduced the deficit with a 16th-minute penalty after Boubacar Kamara fouled Matheus Cunha, and former Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans equalised in the 44th minute.
Aston Villa regained the lead shortly after half-time when John McGinn converted a 48th-minute penalty following Diogo Dalot's foul on Alysson. Leon Goretzka added a fourth goal for the visiting side in the 53rd minute after Leny Yoro headed the ball against his own crossbar. Manchester United responded in six minutes of added time, with Joshua Zirkzee scoring in stoppage time and Patrick Dorgu heading the equaliser following a punch by Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
The draw leaves Manchester United in the relegation zone with eight points from ten league matches. The club has recorded three wins across 15 matches in all competitions this season, having beaten Roma 3-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday to end a nine-game winless streak.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, fifth-placed Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Sunderland. Enzo Le Fee scored the decisive goal from a 36th-minute penalty after Levi Colwill brought down Brian Brobbey, marking Chelsea's fourth league defeat in ten matches under manager Xabi Alonso. "We were not creating enough chances in the final third against the low block. We were not controlling and sustaining the attack there," Alonso said after the match.
Liverpool secured a 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to move into fourth place. Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring with a header in the 40th minute, Florian Wirtz added a second in the 54th minute, and Alexander Isak completed Liverpool's scoring in the 89th minute before Eddie Nketiah converted a late penalty for the hosts. "It was an important win for us going into the international break after the week we've had," Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola said after the match.
The victory ended a two-match losing streak for Liverpool following defeats to Arsenal and Fenerbahce. Following the international break, Manchester United will return to Premier League action against Liverpool at Anfield on November 22.
